Yong Liu
Co-founder
Before co-founding eFriendsNet, Yong was a project leader in the R&D department of Motorola, and responsible for developing applications and enabling infrastructure for wireless networks, especially, GPRS & CDMA. He developed and demonstrated several prototypes to Motorola Senior Management team and wireless carriers including Cingular Wireless and Sprint PCS. He also co-founded the Motorola Optical Networks program. Yong was awarded “Distinguished Engineer” at Motorola.
Yong got his BS from Beijing University in Physics, holds an MS in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and is currently an MBA candidate at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Jun Zeng
Mr Zeng joined eFriendsNet in 2005 as a Product Manager. He then successively held the post of Product Department Head, GM of Internet Division and Chief Operating Officer (COO). He commenced his role as COO of eFriendsNet since late 2007 at the age of 24.
Before joining eFriendsNet, Mr Zeng took an important role in the starting up of China’s first career developing community for college students.
Mr Zeng graduated from the Dept of Advertising, Peking Univeristy, holding a B.A. in Advertising and a B.S. in Economics.
Neil K. Jablon
Neil is a Principal with IBM Global Services, Greater China Group, based in Beijing , China , and is a part of a team that is building IBM's telecom business in China and other major Asian markets, such as Japan . He has 17 years of experience in telecommunications, including 13 years working with Asia . From 2000-2002, he was on loan from Vodafone Group, where he held the position as director of regional strategy, to J-Phone, the 3 rd largest cellular carrier in Japan, and held senior departmental positions in strategy and marketing while introducing strategic thinking into J-Phone. From 1995-2000, he co-founded the Mobile Satellite Services Group at Vodafone (formerly AirTouch Communications), and took it into commercial service. Prior to joining Vodafone Group in 1994, he was at AT&T Bell Laboratories from 1986-1994, where he developed consumer telephony products.
Neil holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University and an MBA in general management from the UCLA Anderson School . He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and extremely functional in Japanese.
Luke X. Lu
Luke has intimate knowledge and network connections of the media and entertainment industry in U.S.A, Hong Kong , China . He has 20 years professional experience with a proven track record.
Luke is now the founder and president of Shanghai City Link Information Technology Co. Ltd. The previous positions he held includes CEO of Starboom Corporation Limited (Hong Kong); President of American East West Productions Limited; President of Western Media Technology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.; Marketing Director of ICVC Inc. (Hollywood); Television Anchorman of PACIFIC SPORTS WORLD SHOW - Channel 18, (Los Angeles); Deputy Director of International Department, China Film Association, etc.
Luke holds MBA degree from Kellogg graduate school of management, Northwestern University ; MFA in film and television, graduate school of theater, film and television, UCLA; Diploma in Chinese Language & Literature, Eastern China Normal University , Shanghai , China
Justin Che
Justin Che has over 12 years experience of in corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and management consulting, primarily in the media & entertainment industry. Currently, Mr. Che is Senior Director of corporate business development and strategy at Universal Studios, where he has played an integral role on several multi-billion dollar transactions, including Universal's $10 Billion acquisition of USA Networks, Inc. and NBC's $34 Billion merger with Universal. The breadth of his strategy and financial experience in the media & entertainment space includes Motion Pictures, Television, Cable Networks, New Media and Theme Park industries.
Prior to Universal, Mr. Che worked in business development & deal analysis in the Motion Pictures Group of the Walt Disney Company and in various capacities at Arthur Andersen, LLP, most recently as a senior associate in Process & Strategy team of the Business Consulting Group.
Mr. Che holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Business and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California . Mr. Che also is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California .
